I'm also pretty certain they had a limited selection for financial reasons, so I definitely don't think they had as many as physically possible at the time.Gwenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08239226134505976077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278385202778793465.post-86789411456270078192016-05-23T09:32:25.811-07:002016-05-23T09:32:25.811-07:00I should have said independent, not syndicated, al...I should have said independent, not syndicated, although those stations did air network shows in syndication.Julie Ann Newmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14514231355379885144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278385202778793465.post-20534958644645689982016-05-23T09:17:37.685-07:002016-05-23T09:17:37.685-07:00*From Julie's doll mom:*

And I must correct you, depending on where you lived, (in the city as I did, or out in the sticks) you can get as many as 7 channels at that time. 3 network, 3 syndicated and 1 PBS station. That's how many we got anyway in NYC. My mom however was a big fan of bundt cakes and piund cake so she always combined the 2. she made yellow cake mix in a Bundt pan, and left one egg out of the directions. I love pistachios, and I have Julie's Cooking Studio book. Who knows? Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks for "listening".Julie Ann Newmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14514231355379885144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278385202778793465.post-68154256014025310752016-05-22T17:32:25.781-07:002016-05-22T17:32:25.781-07:00Maybe you could replace them with chopped up pista...Maybe you could replace them with chopped up pistachios! :DGwenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08239226134505976077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278385202778793465.post-51947470754495735902016-05-17T21:11:33.127-07:002016-05-17T21:11:33.127-07:00My mom makes cookies out of pistachio pudding that...My mom makes cookies out of pistachio pudding that are delicious. I may have to give this one a try, because pistachios, though sold in the nut aisle in most stores, are actually seeds not nuts and I can eat them. I'll just leave the walnuts out.Boomdiadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09496897860331371072noreply@blogger.com
